Hello. My name’s Dave Moreman. I’m the award manager on the Environment and Sustainability Distance Learning programme at Staffordshire University in the UK. Why is this site called ‘both ends burning’ ?

It’s the title of a song by Richard Thompson about a racehorse. He’s one of my guitar heroes and I thought it was some way appropriate for themes connected with global warming, climate change and related world problems.

OK, it’s not a really great name, but I like it!
